An area of wood tiles connected by elastic cords in tension creates a flat table top. However, the surface bows to provide cushioned seating, acknowledging the behaviour of people perching on the edge of coffee tables.

Firefox 2 has been released. It's now got inline spell checking, which was one thing that kept me switching between FF and Safari, but since I installed yesterday, I haven't opened Safari yet. Other than that, it doesn't look too different than FF 1.5. The UI seems a little more refined, and they borrowed a page from Safari by putting close buttons on each tab.

Day Roman is a serif typeface, both beautiful & free. Lots of juicy ligatures. If you're on a mac, download the "PC True Type" file.
