Century Schoolbook
Last night at my letterpress class I stumbled across a case of Century Schoolbook which I like quite a bit. There is something strange about growing up with digital typography, and seeing a semi-modern font in-the-lead, so to speak. It's feels almost anachronistic, like someone went to great lengths to reproduce digital forms into an elaborate sculpture.

Wired looks at social bookmarking
Wired News recently reviewed a number of social bookmarking websites in a feature called the "social bookmarking showdown." In a wrap-up they posted today, they gave Ma.gnolia their highest rating; 8 out of 10. From the review:
Ma.gnolia offers almost all the same basic features as del.icio.us, plus a few more. Ma.gnolia lets you rate your bookmarks using a Netflix-style 5-star system. The site also has a feature called Roots. It utilizes a browser bookmarklet that you can click on while you're surfing to see how many Ma.gnolia users have linked to that particular site, as well as their ratings and descriptions.
